My prom look~ Katey-Anne

Hey there:)

Prom was such a special and wonderful night & I got to spend it with some of my favorite people, I of coarse found the dressing up and getting ready to go almost as exciting as the actual thing so I thought I'd share with you that little process.

In the Easter holiday's my mum, her friend, my sister and I went into our local town and searched in around four different stores before deciding I was far to picky for any of these places and resorted to going to an outlet store on the outskirts of the town. After my 'simple is best' stomach flipped at the bright, decorative and massive styled dresses I was bought into the changing room a dress that I myself would have never even considered. A bright orange dress with lots and lots of jewels laced down it. Not without a fuss I tried it on and my mind was instantly changed. Unlike the pale pastel dresses I had been picking out that totally drowned me out this dress was eye catching and bright, myself and the dress picking party instantly fell in love and after staring at it for far longer than I would care to admit the deal was sealed.

On the day of prom I had a lovely lady curl every strand of my hair before clipping it up and fastening in sparkly hair clips that complemented the jewels on the dress. I did simple makeup & wore earrings my Nan got me for Christmas.

I hope you enjoyed this post, please leave a comment & follow my blog, ya know if you wanna ;)

Hey there everyone:)
Having been exceptionally busy lately I haven't posted in an embarrassingly long time (slaps self on the back of hand) However, this has given me time to think about what I want to do with my blog and you may notice that I have removed the majority of my posts. As I am now starting my a levels I think It's time to put my big girl trousers on and put much more effort into 'Katey-Anne'. I look forward to seeing you soon with what will hopefully be more Impressive and interesting blog posts, although I can't promise miracles especially with my atrocious spelling and grammar.

Exam preparation tips~ Katey-Anne

Hey Their,
Exams can be the most stressful time in our life's and I thought that instead of reading it from a middle aged person who totally doesn't understand what we are going through, it may help even one person to here it from someone in the same predicament, so here are a few of my top tips!

1) Know when your exams are:

Having a printed timetable of when your exams are is the most vital thing you need, it helps you to prioritize and plan your revision and for me it was the kick up the bum I needed to see that I had very limited time left until my first exam, eek.

2) Clear out a work space:

Having a well lit spacey and airy place to work in really can motivate you on those early morning starts, it helps you to get your mind in gear away from all the distraction of the phones and TV's etc..

3)Get the right tools:

Having the correct books to look through can make it so much easier to know where to start!

4) Highlight and underline all your notes:

Going over your books from the last two years and finding key points to revise will make it much easier and less time consuming to revise!

5) Take breaks:

Remember to only concentrate on one thing for half an hour otherwise your brain loses interest and remember to continue to eat and drink throughout the day as this will keep you awake and help you retain more information!

6) Organize your time:

your time is so precious but that does not mean you have to spend it all revising get out and see your friends or take the dog for a walk (or even start a blog!)
